Dr. Zidan: Peace be upon you. Today we have Mr. Ibrahim with us.
Mr. Ibrahim: Peace, mercy and blessings of God be upon you.
Dr. Zidan: Mr. Ibrahim had laparoscopic hernia surgery three months ago, and he's one of the loveliest people I've had the pleasure of getting to know.
Mr. Ibrahim: God bless you, doctor, that's kind of you.
Dr. Zidan: Tell us, Mr. Ibrahim, how did you feel after the operation? What was it like around the time of the operation?
Mr. Ibrahim: The operation felt like a needle prick, that's the truth.
Dr. Zidan: I remember you said something to me after the operation. Do you remember it?
Mr. Ibrahim: What was it? On the day of the operation I didn't feel anything at all.
Dr. Zidan: You said something I'll never forget, and I always repeat it to my patients. Do you remember?
Mr. Ibrahim: I don't remember, not really.
Dr. Zidan: You said: "Did you actually operate? I have no pain at all! Did you do the operation with a fork and knife or what?"
Mr. Ibrahim: Yes, the fork and knife! [laughs] It was my first time having a laparoscopic operation.
Dr. Zidan: So you'd never had laparoscopy before?
Mr. Ibrahim: Right. I came expecting open surgery and all that.
Dr. Zidan: We used a 3D mesh.
Mr. Ibrahim: Beautiful. It really is a wonderful mesh.
Dr. Zidan: Did you feel anything afterward?
Mr. Ibrahim: Nothing bothered me at all.
Dr. Zidan: Okay, thank God you're well, Mr. Ibrahim.
Mr. Ibrahim: God keep you safe, doctor, bless your hands. God willing, may God give you a long life to do 100 million operations.
Dr. Zidan: God bless you. 100 million, that's a nice number! [laughs]
Mr. Ibrahim: No, really, really, it's magic.
